Aniksha Dhamelia Trivedi

Aniksha is a UK-trained physiotherapist specializing in sports, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, cardiac, and neurological rehabilitation. With over 9 years of experience, she has worked with various elite athletes and managed physiotherapy care across multiple health and sports settings. She currently serves as the Team Kenya Track and Field Physiotherapist and is the physiotherapist to world record holders and elite athletes including Beatrice Chebet, Ferdinand Omanyala, Yavi Winfred, Boniface Mwereza, Mary Moraa, Timothy Cheruiyot, and Hellen Obiri, among others.

Aniksha earned her BSc in Physiotherapy from Keele University, UK, and holds multiple certifications including FA Certified Pitchside Physiotherapist, Human TECAR Specialist, Diploma in Sports Massage, Acupuncture (British Acupuncture Council), and Clinical Pilates (London Pilates Society).

Her extensive international experience includes serving as Premier League Academy Physiotherapist at Stoke City FC and Arsenal FC in the UK, Gymnastics Physiotherapist for Team GB, and physiotherapy roles with BARA Hospital, Johannesburg, South Africa, Recoverie Health Clinic, UK, and multiple elite events such as Team Kenya at the Commonwealth Games 2022 (Birmingham) and World Championships 2023 (Budapest), as well as Diamond League events across Europe.

Aniksha’s elite athlete portfolio demonstrates her ability to provide top-tier care, including post-stroke neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal injury management, performance optimization, and advanced recovery techniques. Her passion is helping athletes achieve their highest potential safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Dhruti Patel
Clinical Nutritionist

Dhruti Patel is a registered Clinical Nutritionist with extensive experience in hospital and clinical settings, including Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital and MP Shah Hospital.

She specialises in medical nutrition therapy, supporting patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, and post-surgical recovery.

Dhruti works closely with healthcare teams to provide personalised nutrition plans, therapeutic supplementation, and ongoing dietary guidance.

Her approach focuses on practical, sustainable strategies that support both recovery and long-term health.

Hinal Shah
Physiotherapist | Rehabilitation Specialist

Hinal Shah is an internationally trained physiotherapist with over 7 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. She completed her BSc in Physiotherapy in the UK and has applied her expertise across NHS hospital settings and private practice in Kenya.

Hinal specializes in managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, neurological rehabilitation, and advanced modalities such as TECAR therapy. She takes a patient-centered, evidence-based approach, designing individualized treatment plans that combine exercise prescription, manual therapy, and patient education.

At Proactive Physiotherapy & Wellness, Hinal helps clients regain function, reduce pain, and return to daily life with confidence, ensuring the highest standard of physiotherapy care through her international training and clinical experience.

Monica Njeri Muchugu
Massage Therapist | Soft Tissue Specialist

Monica Njeri is a highly experienced Massage Therapist with over 18 years of practice in soft tissue, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage techniques.

She specialises in relieving muscle tension, improving circulation, and supporting recovery through personalised, hands-on treatments tailored to each client.

Working closely with the physiotherapy team, Monica plays a key role in rehabilitation by helping reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Her calm and intuitive approach ensures each session is both effective and deeply restorative.

Nancy Mbithe Kiteme
MSK & Women’s Health Physiotherapist | Lymphedema Specialist

Nancy Mbithe is a highly skilled physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, women’s health, and lymphedema management. She completed her undergraduate studies at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) and went on to specialise as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist through the internationally recognised Herman & Wallace Pelvic Health Institute (USA).

She has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, chronic pain, pre- and post-natal rehabilitation, and lymphatic disorders. Nancy integrates evidence-based techniques such as therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy to deliver effective rehabilitation for sports injuries, chronic pain, pre- and post-natal care, and lymphatic conditions.

Her approach focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term recovery at every stage of life.

Sylvia Brunlehner
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Sylvia Brunlehner is an internationally trained Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 5 years of clinical experience across Kenya, Germany, and the UK. She specializes in the assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, supporting both elite athletes and everyday clients through acute injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative recovery.

Sylvia has worked across multiple international clinics, including Physiotherapie Fouquéstraße (Germany), Cardio Fitness Club Starnberg (Germany), and Virgin Active Manchester (UK). With a background in sports therapy and as a former competitive swimmer, she brings a strong understanding of movement, performance, and recovery into her work.

At Proactive Physiotherapy & Wellness, Sylvia applies her international expertise to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care, functional recovery programs, and athlete-focused rehabilitation. Her approach combines hands-on treatment with targeted exercise rehabilitation to restore strength, mobility, and function.

Yogesh (Yogi) Patel
Clinical Pilates & Yoga Practitioner

Yogesh Patel is a clinically trained Pilates and Yoga practitioner with a strong foundation in rehabilitation, anatomy, and movement re-education. He holds a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Nottingham, UK, and advanced certifications in Mat, Reformer, and Clinical Pilates (Level 3 YMCA, Level 4 Clinical Pilates, UK).

With over a decade of experience, Yogesh integrates evidence-based practice with mindful movement, breath control, and precise cueing to deliver safe, progressive, and effective rehabilitation outcomes. He specializes in injury recovery, postural correction, core stability, pelvic control, and long-term physical resilience, working closely with physiotherapists to support holistic rehabilitation.

His sessions are tailored and progressive, focused on helping clients rebuild strength, confidence, and body awareness. Yogesh’s international training and experience allow him to provide a global standard of clinical Pilates and yoga education in Nairobi.

Sangna Shah is an internationally trained Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a Master’s in Sports Medicine, Exercise, and Health from University College London (UK) and a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham (UK). She brings extensive experience in sports rehabilitation, return-to-activity protocols, musculoskeletal care, and post-operative recovery.

Her professional experience spans multidisciplinary clinical practice, delivering tailored rehabilitation programs, functional assessments, and evidence-based interventions. Sangna specializes in injury rehabilitation, performance-based recovery, and structured return-to-sport programs, helping clients rebuild strength, movement, and confidence.

Passionate about empowering clients through education, long-term wellness strategies, and safe progressive rehabilitation, Sangna ensures measurable and sustainable outcomes for all her clients.
